About the Role

As an Enterprise Sales Executive, you will lead strategic sales growth with Dexterity's most important enterprise customers. Your mission is to develop and execute account strategies, build long-term executive relationships, create compelling business cases, and drive complex sales cycles and wins with Fortune 100 and other large-scale customers.

This role is ideal for an enterprise sales leader with a verifiable track record of executing and exceeding quota year after year, strong technical and commercial judgment, and experience selling high-value solutions into e-commerce, supply chain, distribution, automation, or related industrial markets. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and customer-facing teams to create value for customers and accelerate Dexterity's growth.

About the Opportunity

You'll join Dexterity at an exciting stage of growth, helping define how Physical AI transforms logistics and warehouse operations while building long-term strategic relationships with some of the world's largest enterprise customers.

Physical & Work Environment

• Location: Hybrid/remote within the United States, with a preference for candidates based in the Western U.S. or near a major metropolitan area with convenient access to a major airport. Periodic travel to Dexterity's headquarters in Redwood City, CA is expected.
• Travel: Up to 60% travel to customer sites, executive meetings, industry events, and Dexterity offices as business needs require.

Core Outcomes

• Strategic Account Growth: Develop and initiate sales strategies for key enterprise accounts and lead the continuous implementation of defined account plans that lead to closing sales.
• Revenue and Margin Achievement: Ensure achievement of agreed sales targets and margins through structured follow-up, accurate forecasting, and disciplined reporting.
• Customer Trust: Establish, build, and maintain long-term strategic customer relationships to improve Dexterity's opportunities for sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and account expansion.
• Business Case Development: Build analytical, value-based business cases that connect Dexterity's robotics solutions to customer ROI, operational impact, and supply chain priorities.
• Coordinated Sales Execution: Ensure a coordinated sales approach across internal teams, including Product Management, technical teams, marketing, legal, and external partners as needed.
• Market Intelligence: Identify and prioritize opportunities, monitor competitor activity within each account, and ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for Fortune 100 and other large enterprise customers that lead to closed business.
• Lead complex, consultative enterprise sales cycles from opportunity development through contract negotiation and close.
• Create added value for the customer and Dexterity by aligning commercial strategy, technical solution fit, contract agreements, and executive sponsorship.
• Act as the focal point for strategic customer relationship management and problem resolution.
• Coordinate communications among customers and internal teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and relevant information.
• Use internal and external resources, including technical, marketing, and commercial teams, to increase Dexterity's market awareness and influence customers at all levels.
• Communicate customer forecasts, resource requirements, operational priorities, and recommendations for value-added offerings to Product Management and business leaders.
• Develop account expansion opportunities through stakeholder mapping, local customer relationships, competitive positioning, and structured account development.
• Maintain strong CRM discipline, forecast accuracy, pipeline visibility, and executive-level reporting.

Actual mix varies by customer maturity, sales cycle stage, and strategic account priorities.

Core Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated success selling complex enterprise technology solutions to large-scale customers. Typically 10+ years of enterprise sales or strategic account management experience.
• Strategic enterprise sales experience with Fortune 100 or similarly complex global accounts.
• Verifiable track record of exceeding quotas year after year.
• Strong account development experience, including stakeholder mapping, pipeline creation, and account expansion.
• Business case development experience with an analytical, value-based sales approach.
• Strong technical know-how and ability to engage credibly with engineering, operations, supply chain, and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive presentations, negotiation, and customer-facing problem solving.
• Ability to work effectively in the targeted geography with established or quickly developed local customer relationships.
• Team player with strong execution discipline, ownership, urgency, and results orientation.
• Experience working with customers at the executive level.

Nice-to-Have, Role-Specific Strengths

• Experience selling into e-commerce, supply chain, distribution, logistics, warehouse automation, or general industry markets.
• Knowledge of integrated automation systems; robotics experience is highly preferred.
• Creative thinker with commercial focus, strong technical curiosity, and the ability to simplify complex value propositions.
• Experience partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Solution Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Customer Success teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent experience in sales, support sales, account management, marketing, automation, or customer support will also be considered.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, or complex technical solution selling.

Compensation

Base pay is one component of Dexterity's Total Rewards package, which may also include commission, equity, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, and other incentives depending on eligibility.The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000–$200,000, depending on experience, skills, education, and overall qualifications.This position is also eligible to participate in Dexterity's sales commission plan. Final compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis based on relevant experience and internal equity considerations.
