JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Compensation Analyst is a key contributor to Apptronik's Total Rewards team, responsible for the analysis, market data, and program administration that support our pay strategy. You will work  independently on complex compensation analyses, act as a go-to resource for People Partners and business leaders on pay questions, and help evolve the compensation programs and tools that support a rapidly growing technical workforce

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES or KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Conduct job evaluations and leveling assessments across multiple job families, ensuring alignment with Apptronik's career ladder and market standards

Manage participation in compensation surveys and analyze the results to inform competitive pay positioning

Provide consultative support to People Partners, recruiters, and business leaders on pay decisions, offer guidance, job architecture, and policy interpretation

Analyze compensation data and develop insights and recommendations on salary structures, pay equity, and incentive plan design

Support the design and administration of salary structures, merit cycles, and bonus and equity programs

Support compliance with pay-related regulations (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency laws) and assist with audits and compliance reviews

Contribute to cross-functional projects such as compensation redesigns, technology implementations, and organizational changes that affect pay

Prepare and present compensation analyses and recommendations to People and business leaders

Build and maintain compensation models, tools, and documentation, and share knowledge with teammates

Stay current on industry trends and competitive practices, and bring forward ideas for improving our programs

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Working knowledge of compensation strategy, market pricing, job architecture, and pay equity

Solid understanding of compensation compliance (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency) and the ability to spot risk and raise it early

Advanced Excel skills and experience with compensation systems and market data sources (e.g., Radford, Pave, Workday)

Clear communication and presentation skills, with the ability to advise and influence non-compensation partners

Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Comfort with ambiguity and change, and a bias toward practical, data-driven improvements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field

5+ years of compensation experience in progressively responsible roles

CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification preferred

Experience in technology, robotics, life sciences, or other competitive global industries is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen

Hearing and speech to communicate
