RECRUITING OPERATIONS MANAGER

Nook's is looking for a Recruiting Operations Manager to help build the systems, programs, and infrastructure that enable our recruiting organization to scale.

This is a highly cross-functional, high-ownership role for someone who loves making things better. You’ll sit at the intersection of Recruiting, People, Marketing, and the broader business — using data, technology, AI, and strong program management to improve how we attract, engage, and hire great talent.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

1. RECRUITING OPERATIONS

- Own recruiting processes, reporting, analytics, and operating rhythms.

- Turn recruiting data into insights and actionable improvements.

- Manage and optimize our recruiting technology and vendor ecosystem, including security, billing, adoption, and training.

- Research and implement new tools and technologies that improve recruiter productivity and candidate experience.

- Drive the adoption of AI across recruiting, including evaluating new use cases and implementing Nooks Agent.

- Lead strategic research projects to help us make better, data-driven recruiting decisions.

- Help develop and strengthen Nooks’ recruiting/employer brand and equip the team with consistent messaging and tools.

- Create leverage across the recruiting team through better systems, automation, processes, and team enablement.

2. TALENT EVENTS & PROGRAMS

Own or support talent-focused events and programs that strengthen Nooks’ brand and talent pipeline, including:

- Hackathons and technical events

- Conferences and industry events

- Nooks-hosted events and dinners

- University and community events

- Creative new ways to get Nooks in front of exceptional talent

Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Recruiting, Engineering, and other teams to maximize the impact of these efforts.

3. PEOPLE OPERATIONS PARTNERSHIP

Partner with People Operations to ensure Recruiting and People processes scale together.

You’ll help:

- Implement and communicate new processes effectively.

- Identify when teams need training, documentation, or enablement.

- Improve cross-functional workflows and eliminate operational friction.

- Support strategic People projects where your expertise can create leverage.

4. UNIVERSITY PROGRAMS

Own and accelerate Nooks’ university recruiting strategy, with a particular focus on engineering talent.

You’ll build relationships with universities and technical communities, develop programs and events, measure results, and create a scalable pipeline of exceptional early-career talent. You’ll partner with recruiters and hiring teams as needed while maintaining ownership of the overall program.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience in Recruiting Operations, Talent Operations, People Operations, Recruiting, Program Management, or a similar function.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

- Experience building processes or programs from the ground up.

- Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and emerging recruiting technology.
